Spend a productive and entertaining day with photo industry professional Julie Grahame. Julie has spent the last 25 years working with  photographers here and abroad, curating, assigning, editing and critiquing their work. She will give practical tips including where to invest your energy; how to think about being found online; targeting your potential market; and licensing your images – including what to do if your photos go viral. We will look at inspiring case studies, and she will teach you to think about realistic goals. There will be plenty of time to ask questions, and critique some of the attendees’ websites – !

Whether you are a full-time professional, semi-pro, or amateur – the knowledge Julie will share applies to everyone.



Julie Grahame

moved to New York from London in 1992 to run a celebrity and music stock photo agency, working with more than 400 photographers around the world. Since 2004 she has been the North American agent for the archive of world-renowned portrait photographer Yousuf Karsh. Since 2006 she has been publishing images online, including her award-winning magazine and blog, aCurator, as well as consulting with photographers, editing, curating, and enjoying many other photo-related gigs.

South x Southeast Photogallery

opened in April 2017 in a newly renovated 1905 brick corner storefront in Molena, Georgia, an hour south of Atlanta’s midtown. The 1700 square foot space is divided between a fine art photography gallery, a photo-library/guest quarters, and an office and preparatory space. Exhibitions will include group shows curated by notable gallerists, editors, and curators, as well as shows by the small but growing stable of photographers represented by South x Southeast.
